In a speech at the burial of the late National hero Justin Mupamhanga, the acting President Rtd General Constantine Chiwenga launched an unpredicted attack on corrupt individuals with questionable morals and controversial activities both in government and out of government.
Chiwenga, whilst addressing mourners at the national shrine highlighted that Vision 2030 is not for a selected few people from the top but was for everyone and that opportunities were supposed to be for everyone at a fair scale.
“Our Vision 2030 is for all of us, not for those you refer to as ‘mbingas’!” boldly declared Chiwenga.
Chiwenga labelled these individuals as “zvigananda” a popular term which was used in the liberation struggle for those who amass wealth through illicit means and possess “questionable morals”.
Chiwenga also criticized tribalism which has been uprooted in the leadership of President Mnangagwa. Many have been saying that ED is appointing the Katanga speaking group to influential positions in government.

Chiwenga’s warning shots come after a group of war veterans demanded that Mnangagwa had failed and that he must go now. Led by an outspoken war vet, Blessed Runesu Geza who is well known as “Bombshell”, the war vets held a Press Conference in Harare where they shared their unhappiness with the current system led by Mnangagwa.
