A male suspect only known as Augustine is wanted by law enforcement agents for murdering a security guard at a bottle stole based in Masvingo.
The security guard who became a victim of this crime is a 38 year old named Edmore Mugwazhi.
The sad incident occurred on August 24 2024. This was after Mugwazhi, a security guard at a bottle store located at Choga Business Centre in Zaka, became involved in a heated argument with Augustine regarding the establishment’s operating hours.
The heated confrontation escalated into a more violent scuffle during which the suspect, Augustine kicked Mugwazhi indiscriminately with booted feet, inflicting severe injuries.
Following the deadly assault, Mugwazhi was rushed to Masvingo General Hospital, where he battled for his life but ultimately succumbed to his injuries on August 26 2024, while under medical care.
Meanwhile, A Zaka man, Tanaka Zivanai (32 years old) who was based in the United Kingdom murdered his wife named Zanele Sibanda (28 years old).
The man stabbed his wife with a knife and she passed away on the spot.
The incident which occurred at around 1.45am on Tuesday 27 August 2024 has left many shocked.
It is not still clear clear why the did this, but a lot of social media users suspect “mjolo” is involved.
